BERRYBREEZE was granted as our affix in 1994, however I was first owned by a Scottie in 1992, a little bundle of black mischief came into our lives and changed it forever. That little bundle was MAYSON FELICITY (Fliss).

Fliss' First Litter

Whilst still at school I knew my destiny was to share my life with dogs, at that stage I hadn't decided on my breed. Having started working weekends in a kennel at 13 years old it seems like everything just fell into place, I enjoyed handling Toy Poodles, Maltese, Shih-Tzu and even a Scottie at shows for the kennel and had many wonderful experiences during my time there.

I went to live in New York for 21/2 yrs and tried to see as many dogs and dog shows as I could get to.

When I returned to the UK I decided it was time to get myself a new 'Best Friend', that is where Fliss came into my life.

Around that time I also set up my own business as an all breed Dog Groomer.

I will introduce you to my Scottie family over the next few pages.

I chose Berrybreeze as my affix when Fliss was expecting her first litter, we were living in a house surrounded by lovely plants and countryside at the time, Fliss was huge.... as she was carrying 10 babies around at the time, it was a very hot summer that year and Fliss was at her happiest in the cool of the evenings sitting in the shade amongst the raspberry canes and other fruit bushes, I chose the name as I felt it was natural, just as Scotties should be, it was such a contented scene, a heavily in whelp mum to be sitting amongst the berry bushes smelling the evening air with the breeze moving her eyebrows, and soon the first Berrybreeze babies arrived.
